LanQua was divided into five thematic sub projects, each with its own coordinator and deputy. The following pages include an overview of languages in higher education in each of these areas, an indicative summary of the core content of each area, an indicative list of essential knowledge, understanding and skills (competences) that a graduate in each area would be expected to acquire, together with examples of the main and emerging teaching, learning and assessment practices in the field.
